As the Senior Design Architect at the Microsoft Innovation Hub (The Hub) Sydney, Melissa Kaplan has been at the forefront of AI design-led experiences, championing the development of the Hub Sydney AI design framework. Her focus over the last 18 months has been on facilitating workshops, whiteboard sessions, and numerous engagements that empower organisations to leverage AI responsibly and innovatively.

- Her involvement in the support of numerous Not for Profit and Social Good organisation, where she shares best practices and support their digital transformation and resilience, especially with the rise of AI
- Leading sessions on unpacking and understanding Responsible AI for organisations, focusing on ethics, human relevance, bias in data, and governance structures
- Engaging in over 50 Envisioning Sessions and Strategic Briefings on Gen AI, exploring Microsoft’s approach to AI, investment across products and services, and discussions about responsible AI and governance
